It's been a busy month for us, lots of rescues coming in and some of our typical temperament testing being done with some of the new imports.
We've cleared another three rescues for rehoming, two more working line Border Collies (one about a year old and one under 6 months), an Australian Shepherd (just about a year old), and 3 Czech Wolfdog puppies!
First up is "Rezy", not actually an import but a surrender dog that's about a year old. He came to us along with his full sibling "Snow", a working line Border Collie showing off that extreme white coat pattern that seems common from his pedigree. - Pending
Second is a first for us, an Azores Cattle Dog! She comes to us all the way from Portugal and has been a blast to work with the last couple months as we did some behavioural testing. - Reserved Third is another South American Dobermann coming from Argentina. This pretty red boy is a half sibling to Maor, sharing a sire, and has been totally steady and eager to learn while we've worked him. - Reserved
We'll have more information, images, and in depth temperament break downs soon!
"Rezy" is a working dog from a working line! He is not suitable for a companion only home unless that home intends to compete with him in agility or another mentally stimulating sport but as he's not an import we'll consider a re-homing over selling him.
We'll get confirmation on his reservation status but in the meantime it'll be first come for a home that seems suitable for him.
Fill out the adoption application for "Rezy" here to be first on the list should he turn out to be available. (reshade and editing has been done on the two above photos! reshade/edit free photos will be posted later)
And lastly:
Sadly one of our previous imports intended home fell through, and while we would have loved to have kept him ourselves he wasn't a good fit for our family. Instead he's been working with Gen's parents back in Sweden while they did some temperment testing and got him started in some junior showing and bite work. It's the first SA line Dobermann for Gen's folks but between the two they've got decades worth of knowledge in showing and Schutzhund where the breed is concerned, we're ecstatic to have caught them between dogs and to give Maor the chance to work with people who have so much experience.
Maor is now available for adoption! You can learn more about him here.
