Boarding Activities
While boarding with us all dogs will be constantly evaluated even when they're enjoying some playtime.
We make sure to have plenty of things our boarders can do - be that on their own, out with a few sims, or with some of the other dogs, while also making sure to have things scheduled that will include their owners.
While boarding for this type of intense training is a great resource for some we also recognise how important it is that handlers and owners are equipped to continue building on what we've started once their dogs return home. Dogs who have had ownership fully transferred to Storsjön Lake will require potential new owners to attend some hands-on training as part of the adoption applications.
Fun Activities!
Our training can be pretty vigorous, especially when it comes to our protection and combat dogs, we absolutely make sure that the dogs get to have that very much needed downtime.
Pack walks, off-leash romps, and one on one time with favourite staff members are just a few of the low-stress re-charges we let our on-site boarders engage in. On top of giving these dogs a break, they also offer us a chance to really evaluate how the dogs are doing in an "off the clock" situations - it's important that while they're solid in their jobs they're also capable of being solid companions.
